1st Topcliffe Scout Group

1st Topcliffe is a group in the Vale of Mowbray District of North Yorkshire, England, and is part of The Scout Association

 

The group in made up of three sections:

Beavers - 6 to 8 year olds

Meet on Thursdays

Cubs - 8 to 10 year olds

Meet on Wednesdays

Scouts - 10 to 14 year olds

Meet on Fridays

Scouting Memorabilia

The Group Scout Leader has a large collection of Scouting Memorabilia from Yorkshire, expecially the Vale of Mowbray. (www.scouthistory.org.uk)

Wanted

Any history on Scouting in North Yorkshire, particularly the Vale of Mowbray

Especially photographs, record books and cards, minute books, name tapes and badges, flags, old trophies, uniforms, your memories etc. To borrow (copy) or good home given, with a view to display collections in museums, libraries, schools, shops etc. and publish a history of scouting in the local area for the 2007 Centenary.
