The County Commissioner and the District President presented 1 Platinum Chief Scouts Award and 4 Diamond Chief Scouts Awards to 4 members of the Vale of Mowbray Explorer Unit. These are the first 4 explorers to gain these awards in the district, and we hope that more will follow soon.
The successful explorers gave a presentation to leaders and parents about the challenges they had undertaken to gain the awards – from expeditions to new skills learnt and old ones improved on. All four have also completed service projects which are ongoing – 3 of them are Young Leaders helping with other groups in the district.
