1st Thirsk Beaver Scouts Visit the Blue Cross Animal Centre |
1st Thirsk Beaver Scouts recently went on a day trip to learn about caring for animals at the Blue Cross centre are Topcliffe North Yorkshire. The beavers armed with a large box of various animal food packages attended at the Sanctuary along with their three Leaders. A great day was had by everyone attending. The Beavers were shown how to care properly for their own cats and dogs and learned little about the work of the Blue Cross. A number have been back with their parents to see if they can adopt an animal. This would be a worthwhile place to visit for any other Beaver or Cub groups who would like to attend. The Blue Cross would make you more than welcome.
